Claire Greene
Licensed Insurance Agent
A Memphis native and University of Memphis graduate, Claire joined Shoemaker in 2020. She helps people navigate, compare, and enroll in Medicare coverage with their individual needs and goals in mind.
Claire works with several insurance carriers and takes time to explain the differences between available plans. The conversation starts with you: the care you use, the prescriptions you take, and the budget you want to protect.
Understand the choices
Start with the basics.
Then make it personal.
Original Medicare includes Part A and Part B. From there, the right coverage approach depends on your circumstances.
Help with your share of costs.
Medicare Supplement Insurance, also called Medigap, works alongside Original Medicare to help pay certain out-of-pocket costs. It does not replace Original Medicare or include prescription drug coverage.
Another way to receive Medicare.
Medicare Advantage plans are offered by private insurers as an alternative to Original Medicare. Most include prescription coverage. We help you review the network, costs, and plan rules.
Look closely at your medications.
Part D helps cover prescription drugs. We review available drug coverage with your medication list and preferred pharmacies in mind, including how it fits with your health coverage.
Coverage, eligibility, costs, and enrollment rules vary. Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage are different approaches and do not work together. Claire can help you understand your available options.

Common questions
Let’s make Medicare
easier to understand.
I’m still working. When should I start?
Your current coverage and circumstances affect the next steps. Talk with Claire before making changes so you can understand how Medicare may coordinate with employer coverage and which enrollment rules apply.
Can I keep my doctor?
Provider access depends on the coverage you choose. We help you review your doctors and hospitals before selecting a plan and confirm current participation with the plan and provider.
Should I review my coverage each year?
It is helpful to review your medications, providers, costs, and plan changes regularly. A review can identify whether your existing coverage still fits and which options are available during an applicable enrollment period.
